Bar chords

So bar chords! These are very very useful and at the same time a pain in the ass to learn. These are very painful to learn. But once you grab them, hip hip hurray! The best thing about bar chords is that these are movable all across the guitar fret board and by just moving from one fret to another with the same fingerings, you will get an entirely new chord with a new sound. Before going to learn the bar chords, I will suggest you to first learn the names of all the notes on the sixth and fifth string. Because these note names will designate the chords. And you should also start practicing to grab all the six strings with just your pointer finger.
This will form the bar. And every bar chord will have this kind of a bar with your pointer finger. So try to press all the six strings on the first fret with your pointer finger. This is painful but within a week with consistent practice, you will surely overcome it and hey you know what, that was the only hurdle to cross.
